Tips for planning your wedding day pictures.
Hello August, how did you come around so quickly? We can’t believe it’s the summer season, let’s hope we get plenty of sunshine our way!
As you know wedding season has been postponed and we wanted to create a series of blogs to fill you with all things wedding!
The blog series will include advice and inspiration for planning your celebration of love.. so on with the first blog!
Your wedding day is filled with heaps of memories, filled with so much love, laughter and joy and not forgetting that all of your closest family and friends will be there!
The best thing about having a photographer is to reminisce and look back at how fabulous the day was.
We have devised some friendly tips and advice to help you plan for your wedding day photos below;
Group photos
Have in mind who you would like us to organise on the day.
We want you to relax and enjoy yourself without worrying about organising family members for the group photos… that’s our job!
So how do we know who you would like us to photograph?
A month prior to the wedding we will make a list with you of all the people you would like us to photograph on the day. (These are mainly for the formal photos)
Some photo opportunities to have in mind:
- A whole group photo of all the guests who attended the day.
- The confetti photo, we love capturing the ‘in the moment’.
- The First Dance, a lot of fun especially seeing everyone dancing the night away and having a great time.
Location
Many Bride and Groom’s fall in love with a certain area at their chosen venue and want us to make sure certain images are captured there if this is the case let us know and we would happily accommodate!
If you are having a church wedding have in mind where you would like us to take the family photos, we would always capture photos at both the church and the reception but depends which backdrop you prefer?
Or if you are undecided we can always do both!
